'`'`'`'`' Johnson Family Missions '`'`'`'`' '`'`'`'`' November 2007 '`'`'`'`'`'`' Dear !fname: Grace & Peace to you in the power-packed name of Jesus! Being back in the USA is wonderful. Getting over jet-lag, and then still adjusting to some culture shock - but all worth it to see our adult children and grandson, and Curt's parents and our good friends. We didn't realize how much the last 2+ years had taken out of us until we got here. We are soaking in peace and rest, but also enjoy sharing our Fiji report in several churches and gatherings while we are here in IL. We will email you our speaking schedule as soon as the details are finalized. Please continue to pray for the 17,000+ souls that made decisions to follow the Lord Jesus. Pray that the seed takes root and produces fruit, and that the enemy is thwarted from stealing the seeds. One of the pastors I met with after the events went to a remote village to follow up on someone that got saved. The first visit, 5 others that also got saved, but didn't fill out forms, joined them! On his next two visits the group grew to over 30 people hungry to hear the Word of God! The local Methodist pastor is letting them use his building even though most of them don't attend his church. I love this pastor, he is very poor and gave EVERYTHING he had for the IWT tour - even taking the food off the shelves for his family believing God would bless him for it! He walks to this remote village. We are also operating under strong prophetic words that these young people in the nation of Fiji will be rising up in the last days as mighty warriors sent into Asia (China, India, Japan, etc.) as part of the end times harvesters. We will be involved in this in the days ahead - training and equipping young people for the final hours! (I think back when I got out of the USAFA - United States Air Force Academy - I asked the Lord why He had sent me there to experience and learn many unique things you only learn at a military academy; He said to me: "I am preparing you for the end times." I can see now that our role will be one of equipping and training this young generation of warriors.) Although it was joyous to see so many come to the Lord during the IWT tour, a side benefit was the work we were able to do seeing the churches unite and labor together. Many of the pastors said to me during and afterwards how grateful they were for our work as it was the first time the churches had come together in their town or villages. Many of them now have formed groups in their towns to continue to meet and pray together to see the KINGDOM advance in their areas. Praise the Lord! (Again our labor in Rockford in the early days of the 80's of intercession and spiritual warfare in seeing the Churches work together proved valuable for this task in Fiji. I referred to the ceremony we held on one of the Bridges in Rockford as part of the plan for our city. If you don't remember that - ask me about it - it was an intense, but glorious time for Rockford.) So - we are very appreciative of God's grace upon the journey He is leading us on; and so blessed by those who are enabling us to follow this path through prayers and financial support. The support you provide goes to these endeavors and pastors like the one you read about above. The Kingdom of God will continue to grow in numbers and power. The hordes of hell can not stop it. We all get to be a part.
