'`'`'`'`' Johnson Family Missions '`'`'`'`' '`'`'`'`' May 2008 '`'`'`'`'`'`' Dear !fname: In times of transition you can tend to feel more vulnerable, but we just wanted to extend a BIG thanks for your prayers during our transition to New Zealand. Most everything is going well. We found a modest place to rent and a vehicle. Hanna was accepted at a Christian school that we can afford since it is subsidized by the government. The IWT leadership team here headed up by Dave Cole, whom we worked with in Fiji, is simply awesome. God is moving strong in the earth as He prepares His bride for the marriage supper of the Lamb! The move of His Spirit in Lakeland Florida is exciting. We are encouraged that the prophesy that said it was coming also talked about New Zealand being in the mix. We are getting engaged in the House of Prayer here. We met Aaron Walsh, who heads it up, in Fiji last year. He worked with Mike Bickle in KC for 7 years getting the IHOP going there. We are pressing into the Lord knowing the battle for souls in Philippines is coming. (After our huge victory in Fiji - huge victory insinuates huge battle - we know we would be crazy to even attempt the Philippines without our intercessory partners.) We are also planning some follow up work in Fiji later this year. Please pray for that. We want to equip the saints there to continue to gather the and disciple the harvest of 17,000+ mostly young people that made decisions for Jesus. As we are getting settled into our "base" here, we are also in communication with the National Director of YWAM Philippines and planning the IWT tour there. My first trip there will be in early July. I will be meeting Mark Anderson there (head of IWT and Call2All, the movement I mentioned in a previous email of the prayer and missions movements linking together to fulfill the Great Commission in the next few years.) We will be gathering with key YWAM, Church, Business, and Political leaders in Philippines to share the vision of IWT and start planning the preparation and implementation phases with them. Thank you again for your willingness to be yoked with us on this journey for our King. We miss our loved ones in Rockford - sometimes the ache in our hearts is overwhelming - but the Lord has been so gracious and merciful to us to confirm His will and comfort us. The best and safest place to be is in His will - both for us, and each other. Grace & Peace to You! Curt, Kay & Hanna Johnson 1-815-918-4304 http://www.johnsonfamilymissions.org !remove A. If you need or want a tax deduction - from our base's accounting department: "To donate to a missionary or a fund please 1) make checks payable to "YWAM". 2) Please write their name on a separate piece of paper or sticky note as follows "for the support of ...(full name of missionary) in ...(city & country)" For U.S. citizens this is very important as the IRS will not consider it as a donation to our non profit organization if the person's name is on the check & thereby the gift will not be considered tax deductible. 3) Mail check to: YWAM PO Box 61700 Honolulu, HI 96839 Try to get checks to us by the 24th or the previous Friday if the 24th is on a weekend.
