'`'`'`'`' Johnson Family Missions '`'`'`'`' '`'`'`'`' June 2008 '`'`'`'`'`'`' Dear !fname: Thank you so much to our faithful supporters. We are preparing for a major outpouring of God's Spirit in the Philippines, Korea, and S. Africa. It is such a privilege and blessing to be your extension into the corners of the earth. Working with the Asia Pacific IWT Leadership team here is a real honor. On a family note, we are so thrilled to have Holli, our 21 year old daughter, here with us now. She will be pursuing education and activities to fulfill her dream of working in missions with young children. We rejoice also that our oldest daughter is getting married this week to a wonderful young Christian man. We are heart sick that we can't go home to be with them to celebrate - but are overwhelmed with our friends and family back home that are loving her as if she was their own daughter. The Lord has also led us to be a part of the staff of the upcoming DTS (Discipleship Training School) that is being led by Josh Cole and the leadership team here in Tauranga. Our work will be to live on campus with the students. We will be giving up our rental home here and joining the school at the location. We will provide some "family" support for the young adults coming from all over the world for this training beginning September 1st. In church this Sunday the pastor talked about the prophetic words about Tauranga being a city of refuge in these last days. It helps knowing that God has a very BIG plan, even if we don't know all the details yet. All of us sacrificing now will be so richly rewarded through eternity. Knowing all this comforts our hearts when we miss all of you, especially our children, grandson, and parents back in Rockford. Things change quickly as we support young people advancing the Kingdom. We just got notice that Curt is needed in S. Korea to help train there. Although his primary assignment will be the Philippines, he will go and help out. We will share more details soon. In addition to your intercession, please consider a gift towards the projects we are working on, particularly if you have a heart for Asia - the Philippines and S. Korea in particular. We also have a strong prophetic sense that many of the tens of thousands of young Philippino and S. Koreans that get saved over the next few years, will be discipled and sent into Japan for the end times harvest! Grace & Peace to You! If you need or want a tax deduction - from our base's accounting department: "To donate to a missionary or a fund please 1) make checks payable to "YWAM". 2) Please write their name on a separate piece of paper or sticky note as follows "for the support of ...(full name of missionary) in ...(city & country)" For U.S. citizens this is very important as the IRS will not consider it as a donation to our non profit organization if the person's name is on the check & thereby the gift will not be considered tax deductible. 3) Mail check to: YWAM PO Box 61700 Honolulu, HI 96839 Try to get checks to us by the 24th or the previous Friday if the 24th is on a weekend.
