'`'`'`'`' Johnson Family Missions '`'`'`'`' '`'`'`'`'`' June 9, 2009 `'`'`'`'`'`'`'`' Dear !fname: I am starting to write this on my travels back to New Zealand from my l-o-n-g trip. Anxious to get back home! You can view the on-line version of this email at our website: http://www.johnsonfamilymissions.org/jfm-11jun09.htm As you know, I went to Hong Kong basically just to be a servant to the 3000 leaders of 100 nations, most significantly the mainland Chinese Church. Because of my role, I wasn't able to attend much of the conference as I was busy behind the scenes with a variety of errands and tasks. In the couple of sessions I was able to attend another high point was when Mark Anderson opened it up for anyone to pray for anyone. I quickly ran over to the Chinese section. Although we didn't understand each other's language, the spirit bond was powerful. Tears and feelings overwhelmed with God's movements through the week are hard to explain. The intercession that went on in conjunction with one of the largest maps in the world was powerful also. I was and still am limping as I injured my ankle helping put away the map (they usually use a fork lift since it weighs 1200 pounds, but we didn't have one.) I have uploaded a video of the map here: http://www.johnsonfamilymissions.org/jfm-11jun09.htm Of course you can get official updates from the web site: www.call2all.org Please know how much Kay & I appreciate those who track with us and intercede for the work we are up to. We count it a privilege to have those that bouy us up in prayer - it is so needed. After Call2All - The last 4 days in Hong Kong were busy with many meetings with International Leaders of IWT from all over the globe. Even with our small group of 50 we had to have translation into Korean and Portuguese. These IWT meetings were key for those of us working in the Philippines to prepare for the coming harvest there. It is really sobering being in the back "war room" of plans for the coming days. The prophetic insight and plans laid out in faith are totally mind blowing. Being a part of the global end times harvest with you is a special privilege. It saddens me most of Christianity in America doens't understand what is going on in America, let alone the rest of the earth. We need to continue to pray that the Western Church wakes up and moves forward. When I was back in USA during February, we talked about the continued shakings that would happen this year. It is almost unbelievable how far and how fast America as a nation is totally abandoning the true God and backsliding into spiritual oblivion. But it is not just America: One of the many things we discussed and made plans for is Bolivia. There has been a change of government there with a evil dictator now in charge. He has made laws that as of the end of this year, the practice of Christianity will basically be illegal. 2000 pastors from that country sent Mark Anderson a letter asking him to please come with our teams before the end of the year to evangelize the youth of that nation - before the door closes. Although everyone in that room has way too much on their plate already, as we prayed, we knew we could not say no. (I will be in the Philippines this fall and unable to go, but we all felt the urgency for this nation.) The good news is as the bulk of the Western Church continues to slide into apostacy and irrevelance in terms of the end times army, the Asian Church is arising in these last hours. We witnessed a part of it first hand in our meetings. We were in awe seeing the mainland Chinese leaders embrace the challenges set before the Body of Christ globally. Having suffered for decades, they are so far ahead of us in their passion for Jesus. The Lord will have a strong remant in USA and elsewhere that we can be a part of - but it will be primarily the young missionaries FROM China and the rest Asia that will carry the banners into the days ahead. Coming full circle that is probably why we have and are experience such vicouis warfare against the begining stages of the work in the Philippines. Please pray. Although much of the Philippines is "Christian" - the young people of that nation have little to do with Christianity. This new wave of converts, disciples, and then missionaries, the Lord has shown us will be those young Philippino's that go into Japan, China and the rest of Asia to help with the harvest and training of hundreds of thousands of end times missionaries. Sorry to ramble. My heart is full and I just don't know where to start to try to convey the urgency and sobering excitement and reality of the hours we are living in.
