IWT - Impact World Tour - Fiji

Fall 2007

15 September 2007

Dear Friends and Family:

Never have we had so much constant spiritual warfare, but never have we seen God move is such power. The Impact World Tour of which we have been preparing for many months has finally arrived. The tour reaches our area of the nation on Sept 27th, but we wanted to share what is already happening. These are some clips of the reports as they have come in - along with a first hand report when we went to a night on the other side of the island.:

"Hey Folks,

Thank you for your prayer, we had a powerful night in Labasa, with Island Breeze presenting the gospel powerfully, boldly and clearly. Also there have been significant steps towards unity amongst the pastors as they met together yesterday and also today.

Thank you for your prayer, we had clear skies and a dry ground last night for Island Breeze in Labasa, with an awesome sunset. With the Altar call been translated into Hindi and Fijian, there was a much larger response than the previous night.

Crowd 7000

Response 507 - There were many whole families responding to Christ.

In another smaller town:

Crowd 3000

Response 150 - A Hindu priest came to Christ.

Obviously the stats don't tell the whole picture of what God is doing here in Fiji. There are powerful things taking place shaking this island.

"Bula from Nadi, Fiji!

Well we’re nearing the end of week 2 of IWT Fiji and there have certainly been major battles, but also incredible victories as we have seen the Lord touch the lives of thousands! Many have been set free from demonic oppression, and physically healed. A blind man’s eyes literally opened, while a lady who had been possessed for 20 years was set free, as IWT swept through entire communities totally saturating them with the gospel. How awesome are His works through the greatness of His power! These campaigns are having an enormous effect on the spiritual climate of this nation. Thank you for all those of you internationally that are praying, we can feel the support on the ground, there is an amazing sense of God’s presence in each meeting.

Stats for the week:

Sigatoka – population 10,000, Thursday - GX International - Crowd – 2,500; Response – approx 270; School assembly response – 236

Friday - Team Xtreme (TX) Crowd - 4,000, Response - 277, On the way to the stadium the team stopped for refreshment next to a local police station. They preached the gospel and two of the policemen gave their lives to Christ.

Nadi – Population 20,000 (known as a centre for Witchcraft)

Thursday - TX , Crowd – 5,000, Response – 701, Many set free and healed.

Friday - Island Breeze (IB), Crowd – 6,000, Response – 374

We were at the TX event in Nadi. We wanted to participate in an event before it comes to our part of the nation in which we are overseers (*see below for Kay's note that explains this.) Although we have been involved in deliverance most of our ministry, this was the first time we witnessed demonic manifestations just because of the simple and powerful gospel being shared. It reminded me of what happened to Jesus as he walked the earth - so awesome. We saw this lady's transformation first hand. We did not see the blind man healed, but believe it happened - it was a powerful night.

Rakiraki – population 3,000, Monday - TX, Crowd – 3,000 (that is not a typo - in the smaller towns, the whole town comes out!) , Response - 600

Tuesday – IB, Crowd – 4,000, Response – 276

Please pray and believe with us for even more anointing and power when the Tour hits our area, which population is bigger than the other two area combined!

"So far we have not done at all what I pictured we would do, but God has definitely had Curt here for this season. There is NO WAY the IWT could have come to Fiji without Curt. Curt is in charge of 16 performances in 6 locations......that means it has been/is his responsibility to have all the places set up with all the churches ready to do the ushering, parking, seating, the blocks for the tough guys to break, etc.....plus teach everybody how to do the altar call counseling and the follow-up. Every night IWT wants all the response cards put in the data base so they can start fresh for the next night. Each person gets follow up materials in the mail, mailed the day after they accept Jesus.....then the altar counselors are supposed to call them and invite them to their church or the closest church to their house. ALL the altar people have to go to these 3 hour training sessions, which Curt has constantly from now until it hits here, and they have to have paperwork varifying they are resonsible Christian signed by their pastors before a name badge will be made for them. Curt and all these people have to be at the event 90 minutes early every night to get ready for all of this!!!!!!!!....and he has 16 performances in 6 locations which means he has been working withall these totally different groups of pastors and venues. Plus on top of all this - Curt is responsible for finding housing for all 106 IWT team members when they are in our area for 3 weeks, and working with churches to supply all the meals for them. SO, that is why we are stressed! AND, the good but overwhelming news is that up north where the population is like a tenth of our area, they are averaging 500 people a night coming forward.........so it is going to be CRAZY here!" Kay

Grace & Peace to You!
