" Mobilize and Empower the Next Generation."

http://www.call2all.org

Hi !fname:

Greetings of the season to you & your families.

As you may be aware we have the privilege of hosting two global 'first' gatherings here in Tauranga, NZ in January 2010

* YWAM Jubilee Celebration - 17-19 January

* Call2All Next Generation Gathering 19-22 Jan

I woke very early the other morning with an overwhelming sense of God's presence and him speaking to me that there was something very special coming down the line in January with these gatherings that would impact Tauranga region & the nation(s). I want to bring you up to date with progress with some of what has been happening.

PREPARATION

* Preparations are going very well considering we have had relatively little lead up time to these major events. We have been stretched in our faith and aware of the challenges practically & spiritually, but are full of joy and have a real sense of expectancy. Thanks to those of you who have prayed & shown outstanding generosity over these past few months in helping us - we appreciate this very much.

The local church C2A rep. meetings held weekly in our office since the Bay Park stadium meetings with John Dawson in October, have been inspiring. The combined youth group monthly meetings facilitated by Jonathan & Alissa Dishroon have been breaking new ground with 17 youth groups represented in the last Saturday night meeting where young people have worshipped & prayed for our city. We envisage this will continue well after Call2All Next Generation & could be, together with the Children's track, one of the most powerful catalytic effects from these events in our region. There are already 80 local & national children's work leaders signed up for the special training day with Lenny & Tracy to be held on Saturday 16th January held at Tga City Elim Church prior to Call2All Next Generation. This will help equip workers for the Jubilee & Call2All next Generation children's tracks being held.

We are envisaging on current registrations coming in that there will be up to 600+ at the YWAM Jubilee & 2000+ for Call2All Next Generation.

However as you may know here in NZ(& possibly your nation), many here get on board at the last minute, making it a ride of faith for an organising team. We are ready for this influx with facilities. People are coming from many nations with a large Pacific Island contingent making plans to come from PNG through to Tahiti. We appreciate folk in the local churches opening their homes to provide those coming from poorer nations with hospitality. Faith Bible College locally is almost full to overflowing with participants coming and staying at their facilities. Our greatest need now is providing food & finance to undergird the large Pacific Island teams coming.

YWAM JUBILEE

The opening session on Sunday January 17 for the YWAM Jubilee will begin with an official maori welcome/Powhiri at 4pm to welcome Loren & Darlene Cunningham & the delegates coming from overseas & around the nation. Local civic leaders & MP Simon Bridges have been invited also. This will be followed by a hangi meal for all present. Then Cindy Ruakere & team will lead worship followed by Loren & Darlene for an outstanding evening.

Loren & Darlene will be personally coming to Tauranga for the first stop of a year traveling through the earth during the Jubilee for YWAM International. Loren, now in his 70's has personally been to every nation on earth to proclaim the Gospel within this past 50 years and walked in integrity through many battles & victories. Its going to be a precious time in God's presence over the Jubilee Celebration. It is going to be a great honor to have you with us during this time.

CALL2ALL NEXT GENERATION

In the afternoon of Tuesday 19 Jan. registration for Call2All Next Generation will take place followed by its opening ceremony beginning at 5pm. There will be a multicultural welcome during this time with a brief overview of the unique history of mission in NZ presented by John Dawson, Alistair Rees, Cindy Ruakere & others to give a context to participants coming of our journey as a nation.

Following this opening there will be an evening of worship and prayer & 3 whole days/nights of encounter with God in an extraordinary way, together in main sessions & breakout workshops.

The Tauranga House of Prayer will move on site for the entire gathering. Dywane Roberts from the International House of Prayer(IHOP) who heads up the 'One Thing' young adults conference each year with 20-25k people attending, is joining us with his family for their first time in NZ.

I want to remind you of the super cheap NZ$34 registration fee for young people 18 yrs old & under for the whole 3 days of Call2All Next Generation. Also the children's track which is going to be outstanding with Lenny & Tracy LaGaurdia.

We will be continuing publicity after the Christmas break on Radio Rhema/Life FM nationwide with info on how people can be involved within the whole event. Please feel free to include/adapt any information you may wish from this in your church/ministry/personal communication.

We still need host homes for delegates coming & any donations of finance to help undergird the hospitality area.

Also volunteers to assist in areas during these events. Please pray with us for provision for every need.

Our office will be closed from Wed 23rd Dec until Monday 4th January.

However we will be handling urgent enquiries by email or phone over this holiday period.

On behalf of the oversight team

May the Spirit of God refresh & strengthen you mightily at this time and prepare you for a great year in 2010.
